Duplex Priming Systems
Q-VAC duplex priming systems have two vacuum pumps and are available with several vacuum technologies. A duplex system provides the security of built-in redundancy, lower cost operation, and advanced controls. Since two vacuum pumps operate together during initial priming, smaller vacuum pumps can be selected without sacrificing performance. However, to maximize efficiency after the initial prime, only one vacuum pump runs during normal operation to restore system vacuum. Not only does this reduce power consumption and operating costs, it also reduces the run time on each vacuum pump to extend maintenance intervals and maximize life. PLC controls are standard to provide increased safety, enhanced features, and the most reliable operation.
